Q: Are procedures done in your office or do I have to go elsewhere?

A: Yes, we have an Office Endoscopy Suite attached to our office where we perform procedures. This unit is staffed with a skilled Endoscopy Team as well as Board Certified Anesthesiologists, who together have accumulated 40 years of experience in the Lowcountry.

Q: Will my insurance company pay for me to have Colonoscopy Screening?

A: This depends on your individual insurance policy. On staff we have someone that verifies your coverage prior to you having the procedure. You will be contacted if your policy requires you to bring a payment at the time of your procedure.

Q: Do I need a referral to see one of the physicians?

A: Yes. We do require a referral from your primary care physician. This referral is separate from an insurance referral that your policy may or may not require.
